I recently bought my dad's silver 2002 JCW Cooper S, after he upgraded to a new JCW. It only has 74k miles on it and he put in a new clutch at 70k. It's BY FAR the most fun I've had driving a car that doesn't have 400+ horsepower. It's addicting to drive and for the past week all I could think about at work was going home and driving. I can post some pictures later of the car!


I'm in the VA Beach area, and I'm an electrical designer at a private navy contractor. Any advice for someone new to the family is good advice! I'll have this car for a while as my dad babied it, and I'm planning on making it my own, can't wait to see where it takes me. The little waves you get from other Mini owners are just a sweet little bonus, too!

 

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of options available to personalize the MINI in terms of performance and appearance. Check out the first generation section of the forum. Ask lots of questions. The members are always happy to help. We do need to see the pictures.
