So, the day was not unlike any other. A buddy of mine asked me to be his wingman while he went to buy a car from a used car lot. While we were there, he convinced me to test drive a 2006 MCS (R53). I went home with it that day.


I frequent this forum, well, frequently. You fine folks have helped me through everything from tires, to oil, to flushing the coolant system and replacing the thermostat and housing (my most recent adventure). This is always the first place I look, and I almost never need to look anywhere else.


I have a problem that I don't see anywhere. I've been a member since 2014 but I've never posted - so I figured I'd introduce myself before posting my story.


I'm sure there are a ton of folks like me - who use the forums frequently but almost never post. Even if I (we) don't say it, I (we) appreciate the community here.

Wow, you folks like your pictures =P When I get home, I'll take a few and toss them up. Uh, or maybe after I wash it...

 

This website might not be the best when you are a car hypochondriac... Every time I read a post I think 'oh, crap, my car does that'. Most recent example is the radiator fan - my high speed fan comes on and off a lot when I turn on the A/C. I just found a post that says my low speed fan might not be working. Add that to the list of things I need to do when I get home =P

My car is broke and I don't want to push it out of my garage to get pics. My driveway is slanted and I don't know that I'll be able to get it back in the garage if I back it out.
