Hello from Baton Rouge

I just became a Mini owner this morning when I bought a 2006 Cooper S JCW with factory aero kit. Has 103k on it. It is a one owner car from California. LOVE it !

It is not stock, has the following upgrades:
Koni coil over shocks
Dinan strut tower brace
Alpine high power stereo with bluetooth
PIAA fog lamps and Xenon headlights

Great looking MINI. Did you do a lot of research or did you luck into the best driver's vehicle, the best year, the best trim level and a great color?

A friend has a 76 Mini. I really like it. I saw this one on the local clist. There is a local dealer who was a long time BMW salesman in San Diego. He looks for the best Minis and BMW Z3s there and drives or ships them back to Baton Rouge. Yeah I got lucky finding one with all the best features. I don't really need to change or add much. I may put in a short shift kit, but it doesn't really need that. My last fun car was a VW TDI. Tuning made a huge difference on it. It is worth looking into tuning a Mini?

Hi and welcome to the Exclusive Mini and JCW first gen crowd!
2006 is the best gen one Mini. Yours is beautiful and looks well cared for.
There is a ton of information in the Gen 1 area, to keep that car running and looking sweet!
Show us the engine too!

It looks sweet and clean! Ya gotta luv it!
It needs the matching upper JCW grill installed, to finish it off!
It should be driven like you stole it!
A 210hp go cart!

I put in a black upper grill this morning. Looks much cleaner. My car came with factory front and rear fog lamps. Who wants to buy the PIAA foglamps, wiring, relay, switch, etc?
