Hello all... I have admired the looks of the mini for a while... I was in a car accident recently and my car was totaled... (No one injured) I was out car shopping and headed to a dealer to look at a Mercedes C300... The deal looked awesome... but they sold it a couple of hours before I got there... So we looked at a few cars and I looked out the dealer window and pointed and said... Hey you have a Mini... 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman (nonS) 54,237 miles... Clean car, clean carFax with limited Maintenance data... They showed me the work their service department had done (New tires, brakes, battery, oil, fluids)... Drive straight, true, and strong... One owner... This was a Subaru dealer and according to them they never had much luck selling Mini's. It was listed for $8,995 and he said He would take $5,900 for it... and free oil changes for life... I've had the car for 8 days now and I am really enjoying it...
Congratulations on your new purchase. Good to hear that no one was injured in the accident. Quite a difference between a Mercedes and a Clubman, I would have picked the Clubman as well. Before you go for the free oil changes, make sure they are willing to put in the manufacturer recommended synthetic oil or the free oil change may not be a good deal after all.
