Long time Lurker

Hello all,
I actually purchased my 2010 R56 MCS and joined back in 2012 but I just paid her off. Title in hand! With that being said I've got some mods and a major maintenance job at hand so I'll no longer be simply lurking about the forums but can participate in the joy that is my Mini and this exceptionally helpful community.

Congratulations on the payoff. You implied that this is the first major service for the MINI. If so congratulations again. Try not to take out another loan to cover the mods and maintenance!

We need pictures.

I'll definitely have to post some nicer shots when all is said and done (theres a multicam timelapse in the works), but heres the nitty gritty of her right now and then some nicer shots from the booth on the first day off the lot.

Yeah... I'm an engineer but was not a mechanic so, with this clutch job, i figured it was time to learn. Its also a good excuse to do a bunch of performance mods.

Thanks! I’ve been installing bit by bit but once I’m done this round, this will be the list:
K&N CAI, custom ram air from the stock scoop, Mishimoto cooling hoses, hot side boost tubing, noise maker delete, water / meth injection, 1 grade colder spark plugs, Forge CRV, lightened flywheel (24lbs) and CM FX250 clutch, dual oil catchcans (1 on PCV 1 on turbo return both sealed and baffled), Helix FMIC, lightened wheels (~16lbs), powerflex and NM stabilizer bushings, 2nd cat and resonator delete,
I think that’s everything. I do plan on doing more in about 6 months which should include a down pipe and custom magnaflow exhaust, a bunch of handling upgrades, custom 6 point seats and harnesses, custom cold side intake, and swapping all the rear glass for Lexan.

You have quite a list so far and I am sure you will have it done soon. It seems like we all need to get things done right away!
Congrats!
