Joining the Club
Greetings everyone,
I've been a lurker for the last few months, and this past Saturday I made the leap and ordered my first MINI - a 2018 Countryman S!
I started looking for a new car well over a year ago and had narrowed it down to the MINI Countryman, it was just the right size for me, being just a bit bigger than the standard Coopers yet not as big as other SUVs. I soon discovered that the model was due for an upgrade, and seeing the bells and whistles of the newly designed F series interiors, decided to wait for the F60.
So I set a Google alert for "Mini Countryman" and followed along with all the spy shots and rumors being posted online for months before the official reveal. By late March, my local dealer had one on the showroom floor and I knew right away it was what I wanted. After hearing that the July production models would have CarPlay and a few other upgrades, I said to myself "waited this long, might as well wait another month or so for the 2018."
And here we are. After building it several hundred times online, my order is submitted for production. Now the REAL waiting begins...
