Hi All!


Greetings from Calgary, AB CANADA! I just picked up a 2003 Cooper S in Dark silver. Only 93,000 kms so around 60K miles. No accidents and maintained. Will need some suspension refresh and probably some mounts and seals. And apparently the amp is the reason the stereo doesn't work (HK stereo). But for now a good daily driver to work and it was cheap!


Here's one pic off my phone from picking it up yesterday. Its a blast to drive. My cars in the past were mostly VW and Mercedes. Had a Porsche 911 turbo that I sold last year and picked up an E55 AMG. Sold that last week and picked this up for the daily commute to work. So I don't expect crazy performance but I am impressed so far!


I have already been searching various things and there is some good info out there. But excuse any posts that may seem obvious to you veterans.

Wonderful! Great to hear that they may be of use to you. We don't currently, but we have warehouses closer to the boarders than our main hub here in SoCal. We are also currently diving in deep to figure out a way to improve our shipping costs to our Canadian customers.

 

That would be awesome! Its ridiculous how much more things cost up here; 2-3 times if you are lucky. I have ordered from the states before and its not soo much the shipping as it is the duties. Its not based on a value but an arbitrary number they pick. I once paid $48 duty for $60 wobble bolts!!
