2010 Clubman

Picked up a near-immaculate Clubman a couple months ago. Still figuring out all the upgrades installed, here's what I've found out so far:

          Welcome to NAM.

You ever had a Mini before? How many miles on it?

          Welcome.

Looks like maybe an alta intercooler. Post up pic of the turbo.
Aggressive XXR wheels. Hankook tires. Front rotors drilled and slotted. 1080 3M CF wrap on fender.
          That's what I can see

@r53coop: This is my first Mini. It had just over 63000 miles on it when I bought it.

@ECSTuning: I think it's an ATM intercooler. I'll post a photo of the turbo shortly, but you are correct regarding the rest. Speaking of that wrap on the fenders, does anyone know how to remove dried wax from a textured wrap like that? Nothing I've tried so far has worked..

Here's a photo under the hood - forgot to mention the intake, too.

What are your impressions of your "cute little Mini?"

There was a recent post where the guy never had a Mini and said the car was like a "rat on acid". Somehow I just do not see see cute going with a rat on acid.

r53coop: I can honestly say it's the most enjoyable car I've owned. I'll agree, "rat on acid" doesn't describe the car well at all. I can't really find a better way to describe it myself than the typical "go-kart on rails." It's fast, loud, and sticks to the road like velcro. I love making the tires chirp when I'm leaving a stoplight.

RllyDrvrIX: At the moment I'm still getting used to driving this little beast. I haven't driven a sport-tuned vehicle in ages, the finesse needed to get everything moving perfectly and in unison is kinda new to me (especially this clutch - I still occasionally shudder away from a dead stop). Once I sort all that out you can bet I'm gonna see how the car handles on a track!

          Welcome to NAM from Wisconsin!

I have had mine 4 yrs and still have moments of discussion with my clutch.
