Hi!

Hey guys,

I've been after a mini for a time now and if everything goes right I will own my very first mini (R52 convertible) this weekend

As soon as I get it I will upload a pic and ask for a lot of advice from you.

Welcome to NAM. There is an immense amount of information here on the Gen1 car between the threads, the members and the venders.

Is your Vert a S or a Justa?

Is that an S or a JCW as it looks like a JCW badge to the right of the license plate? If a JCW in that color and wheels you may have a "Last of the Supercharged". What does the door sill say when you open it?

Yes, it was in the add description but I think the guy was not into it anymore. So I got a pretty good deal in the end. Now I'm going to change fuilds and look what other parts need replacemnt after 120K miles. Any suggestions on where to start?

Hi and welcome to the NAM family! It looks to be a John Cooper Works Model (I see and emblem on the lower grill, that looks like it. Can we see the engine. Also, if you go to the BMW Vin decoder, it will give you the info on the build options.
If you need help with this let me know!

Of Course, I just uploaded some pics. I cleaned the interior and the engine to get a better idea of what this mini needs. https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/g/album/7649021

I think I'll start with the hood and doors since there are some dings and dents. For some reason the passenger side hood latch doesn't close. The springs have a lot of rust and barely move. I just find out that the previous owner have the harness disconnected to avoid having the hood ajar light...
