I've been after a mini for a time now and if everything goes right I will own my very first mini (R52 convertible) this weekend

It's a nice looking S version. I'm driving it back from NY this weekend! Really excited :D

 

Is that an S or a JCW as it looks like a JCW badge to the right of the license plate? If a JCW in that color and wheels you may have a "Last of the Supercharged". What does the door sill say when you open it?

 

+1 bet its 100% one of the last of the supercharged. It should be numbered. I swear everyone of those pops up on here. lol Sooner or later all 100 will me posted.

Yes! this one is #99. Needs some TLC but still looks and runs good.

Yes, it was in the add description but I think the guy was not into it anymore. So I got a pretty good deal in the end. Now I'm going to change fuilds and look what other parts need replacemnt after 120K miles. Any suggestions on where to start?

Hi and welcome to the NAM family! It looks to be a John Cooper Works Model (I see and emblem on the lower grill, that looks like it. Can we see the engine. Also, if you go to the BMW Vin decoder, it will give you the info on the build options.

I think I'll start with the hood and doors since there are some dings and dents. For some reason the passenger side hood latch doesn't close. The springs have a lot of rust and barely move. I just find out that the previous owner have the harness disconnected to avoid having the hood ajar light...
