just arrived on this site, bought 2014 CPO convertible two weeks ago, 1944 miles, highclass grey w/toffee leather for wife and daughters. surprised at how beautiful the combination is on this car. also surprised at performance/handling/fun for the base motor w/automatic.

Yes, you are not the first nor the last that will be surprised by a "cute" little Mini. Have you started to think up numerous different reasons/excuses on why you will need to drive their car?

 

I have a few other rides such as a Jeep and a mustang but I do like to steal the mini from the garage

Thanks JA, ur Mini does look mean! Love the JCW look. Apparently Dinan is going to release some tunes pretty soon for Minis. Just spent a fortune on a tune for my X5 but it was well worth it.

 

Hi and welcome to the NAM family!
We would like to tell you how much money you save on fuel with these, little giants, except for the fact that you will constantly be finding places you have to go to for errands!
For example: I have to go to town, to get a few things we need... hours later, you return home, with nothing, as you forgot to stop!
Scrubbing the tires off on twisties will be the next issue (make sure to get a set of summer tires, so your all season tires will last).
Next: Well it only makes sense that it needs to be personalized. We call that necessary mods!

Dinan already has their sport tuner out for our cars, many people on this forum have it and really like it. ALSO, word on the street is that Dinan will release a fully warranted tune which carries the 4yr/50k new car matching coverage tuner early july for Mini as well.

 

So I bought a refurbished unit from Dinan yesterday for my wife's base 2014 convertible for $149.00. They list 2014 Mini Coopers as compatible F55/F56 but do not mention the 2014 convertible. The engine is the same between the base 2014 hatchback and 2014 convertible right?

Thanks WMW, I love how the toffee leather color goes with the Highclass Grey paint too. I looked at my sticker and was shocked at how much these two options cost. Glad I bought it CPO!
