Hi!

Great forum, and glad to be here on behalf of my manual Chili red 2005 MINI S Convertible. She's approaching the 12,000 mile mark and I have lots of questions about...well...everything, so thanks in advance for your patience, and thank you for having me!

Hi PrettyChilly,
Welcome to the NAM family!
Wow a new old 05 S! We need to see pics. I am a fan of 05 and 06 Mini S models!
If you are not familiar wit Minis, you need to only use a high quality synthetic oils in all the areas that need oil. (engine, trans, special oil for steering) Of course premium fuel is also important.
Lots of help here. You should post in 1st gen R52 (convertible)/R53 hatch for S models.
