Sunroof would be nice
Manual transmission a must
Hid or led headlights

scroll down till you find market place click on minis for sale all the way at the bottom .

In the good era of the Gen 1, I would shoot for 2005+ R52 or a 05'-06' R50 or R53. Most MINIs on the forums here are more pampered than the ones found most of the time on CL. Found here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...e/cars/search/
Good luck on the search.
Good luck on the search.

...and when you find that MINI, also look for a straight-off-the-shoulder BMW/MINI shop that will help you keep it in top condition. These cars REQUIRE constant attention. You can't drive it for months on end without it then wonder what happened. Check fluids weekly, service items on schedule. Here is a sample of periodic service I subscribe to.
Rotate tires and oil/filter every 5K
Brake Fluid every 20K
Serpentine belt every 30K
Coolant every 30K
PCV vent valve every 30K
PS Fluid flush every 30K
Plugs every 40K
Fuel Filter Change every 50K

That's a good list Caleb. I took about a month or so checking dealerships, ad listings, truecar.com, etc. and finally located my R53 this past year with 79,000 miles. It was a great find, so patience is the rule.

Where are you located so we can find something close to you? I've had a few customers in the last year have nice cars for sale that we have taken care of so they didn't need anything. But will keep an eye out.
