Just wanted to drop in and say hello from Statesville NC. I'm in the market for a new car, and I've fallen in love with Minis now that I've test-driven a couple.

I come from a long line a VWs. I've owned 8, and after Dieselgate and seeing what my wife has gone thru because of it, I'm going to take my money elsewhere. I'm between a Subaru and a Mini (leaning this way due to individuality!).

I've always been very performance oriented, so obviously I'm interested in the 2016/17 Mini Cooper JCW. I've got an appointment to drive one this Saturday.

Any common problems with Minis? Best features to get? I've heard the Harmon Kardon is a must.
