Hello from Chicago

Hey there,

New (but used) Mini Cooper owner, just picked up a JCW R53 a couple weeks ago. Having a bit of issues with it, so might be posting in the troubleshooting forums a bit!

If anyone has checked out the new DriveTribe site, I started a Mini Cooper tribe there after not seeing any, it's grown pretty big! Please check it out!

Hello and welcome, nice clean R53 JCW. Like that it has the rally lights and the aero kit. Nice find.

Thanks! Wish I could get the rally lights working. Didn't realize till a poster above pointed it out it totally looks like the Italian Job Minis. Probably subconscious in my desire to buy it!

They come on with a switch button near the knee pad. They come on with the high beams.

Oh yeah, I'm aware. I'm having trouble getting them to work though - I made a post here while I troubleshoot the issue: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t-working.html

Sooner than later (likely sooner) you're gonna need a source to buy replacement parts as well as performance accessories. We've been focusing on MINI since 2003 and here's some links to the categories on our site just for your model:
