hey guys, whats going on? Just picked up my 05 r53 today and pretty excited to get this project going. Car currently has 118xxx miles and i picked it up for what i think was a good price, $3800. Im currently living in orange county NY and just basically seeing what this forum was all about. heres the first shot i took today after the first wash down..
$3800? Must be something wrong with it . . . Otherwise, great price!
story on the car was it was a trade in at a dealership in manhattan. The guy i got it from grabbed it up at the auction and had it listed on CL for $4200obo. So i asked him what his lowest price was and he said $4. Knowing how CL works i offered him $3800 and he accepted. Im assuming he paid next to nothing for it and was just looking to make a quick couple of bucks. Carfax was clean and its only a "1 owner" car.

Thanks! ill have more shots coming ran out of time today. The car is currently all stock but Ive been doing some research on exhaust systems,cai, coilovers. Plus im sure ill catch the upgrade bug and continue buying more and more parts, so only time will tell. Just looking forward to getting this thing on the road already!
