(Re) Greetings from NC
Hello MINI people!
I owned my first MINI back in about 2004 when I purchased a brand-new Silver Hardtop S. I think I put about 60,000 miles on that one before I sold it when I moved to the Land of Snow and Ice. I had an account here and even attended MINIs on the Dragon a time or two.
Recently I bought a used MINI that was almost identical to that MINI -- it was a 2003 S, and Silver again, this time with JCW package. I think it may have had some other mods as well, because the shifter was quite short. Sadly, a short time ago, someone drove through a red light and the brakes on the MINI can't override the laws of physics. It was up to about 125,000 miles. The MINI kept me safe, but was quite destroyed. So I thought I should get yet another one.
This recent purchase (just yesterday) is my first convertible. It is a 2005 Chili Red (very red) S with the JCW package as well. It has a new top and 101,000 miles on it. So far I do quite like it, but it is very red. Compared to the last MINI, it is a bit soft and quiet. The radio will certainly have to be updated, but then, who knows what else! I am looking forward to reading lots more about everyone else and their MINIs here once again.

Sounds like a great deal, please post some pix! I love the Chili Red. Please visit our site for loads of articles and application guides on service, maintenance, accessories, and performance upgrades to keep her running spot on! Welcome back to NAM!

Wow that's clean and check off all the boxes, because you have some great options. Congrats.
Aero kit, rally lights, R90's in anthracite, possible JCW brakes ( i can see the JCW logo ) , JCW tuning kit, looks to high in the air for the JCW suspension, but it might just be the angle.
Great R52, I have one also in Hot Orange
