Returning to Mini After a Long Absence

Hello everyone,

Used to have an '05 Cooper but had to get rid of it when our daughters came along. Sooo, finally got the opportunity over the weekend to get another.

2007 Chili Red Mini Cooper S! Super clean, so excited to get to work on her. So nice to have a fun car again(very much over driving around the Camry dadmobile)!

What a beauty! Love the color. Recently purchased an R53 myself. How many miles on yours and any mods made by prior owners? We have over 40 years experience with Classic Minis and BMW MINIs so please feel free to ask any and all questions.

Here's a handy service & maintenance guide to make certain everything is spot on:

Also, a performance upgrade guide to help with future mods.

Welcome to NAM, and please feel free to ask any questions!

Thank you for the welcome, I'll definitely take a look at your links! 90k miles and bone stock. So I've got a lot of work to do, but it's kinda nice starting with a clean slate.

That's for sure re clean slate!

Mine had a few minor annoyances, like door actuator not working properly and a parking light burnt out, but was rattle free and drives really smoothly. Plus, you're timing is good. We just announced a special discount only for NAM members this month, if you have some items needing fixing or upgrading:

We have a special NAM Member Appreciation discount for MINI owners for the month of August - 12% off!

Select your year and model MINI from the pull-down menu, then at checkout enter HOTDISCOUNT.

Special order and items already on sale excluded. Not to be combined with other discounts. Ends August 31.

Let us know how we can help!

Sincerely,

Your friends at Mini Mania

Drive Hard. Drive Safe. Keep Grinning.
