Hi,

My name is Dirk and I live in Shorewood, MN. I'm the proud new owner of a MINI Production Number! I have high hopes that, before long, that number will blossom into the 2017 MINI Clubman S All4 I ordered last week.

I'm looking forward to delivery, partly to get rid of the 2005 Volvo XC90 that is currently falling apart around me, but mostly to start MOTORING!

I look forward to exploring the site and learning more about MINIs past, present and future.

My MINI has made it to the USA! The ship carrying it has moored in Baltimore harbor and I'm really itching for the final countdown to motoring!

Can anyone say what happens at VDC and how long processing takes? My MA suggested one to two weeks (followed by lots of question marks) before arrival in MN, but intrepid MINI orderers might have a better answer.

 

Congrats, The VDC can take a week or a little longer. When mine was down there ( SC VDC east coast) took abut a week, depends on how busy they are and if something needs done.

 

Thanks! Anecdotal evidence agrees with you. Some owners complained that their car was there for weeks and, later, found that recall/TSB work was being done or damage from transit (eek!) was being repaired. But, I'm trying, trying, trying to be patient (since 7/25 when the order was placed) and wait my turn.

 

Well, my car is finally scheduled for delivery on Thursday and pickup by me on Friday, exactly 66 days from the date of order.
