Ordered February 1. Just received June 21. Melting Silver. Sold 2005 S convertible at 140,000 to a MINI club member in Tucson, AZ. Love most things about it, just not sure yet on the added size.

Looks great! Congrats Have any road trips planned yet, or any mods?
Stick some pictures up for everyone to see. The size jump was unfortunate, but I think in this case, the new convertible's overall design looks better in all respects. How does it compare to your 2005 S on the road? Hopefully the body structure has become even stiffer.
I've had my 2016 convertible now for 2 weeks and only 700 miles. Here are my 1st comparisons (both are manual trans).
Pros: (in no particular order)
-Sport mode with the dynamic dampers tightens up the suspension nicely without becoming a buckboard. I do prefer normal for our lousy Tucson streets. Green doesn't really seem to do anything at all.
-LED headlights are great, better than xenon.
-Body is stiffer. I had added M7 underbody stiffing kit to my 2005 which helped.
-gear throws are a little shorter and more sure. I also like having gear # displayed.
-The automatic throttle rev matching works really well.
-The backup camera works great. I had added one to my 2005. It is very hard to safely back out of a parking spot with 2 giant SUVs on both sides.
-The interior is much more comfortable.
-light color Grey interior (no cost option).
-Propeller spoke wheels have nice mix of silver and black, easier to keep looking good.
-Nice exhaust note.
Cons:
-Having to hold the top switch the time for up or down. After the sunroof open the top must be fully open or closed. The windows have one touch up or down. It is silly for the top not to be the same. (disclainer: 2005 was same, but there was an inexpensive aftermarket fix. Nothing yet for the F57)
-Bigger exterior, (I do like the bigger interior)
-I miss the cool blue color and blue top of 2005. No good blues in current colors
-I miss the supercharger whine.
-Lot more $$$$
