New Member - 2011 JCW in Pepper White

Hi everyone!

About three weeks ago I was searching for something sporty along the lines of a 500 Abarth. With no manual Abarths in Indiana I dealer-hopped until I could find something I wanted.

I saw the JCW (at an Audi dealership of all things), heard the exhaust note, and the rest is history! N14 engine that I made sure to warranty. No JCW bodykit. Otherwise, still learning about the car.

I came from the Jeep community ('90 YJ) and thus integration into the Mini community is a welcomed and familiar process. Registering for this website is the first stop in what is going to be a fun ownership.

Thanks in advance for being my first step into the Mini community and I look forward to participating.

Welcome to NAM and the world of MINIs You have a great adventure ahead of you, and we're here to help with over 40 years experience with street and track Classic Minis and BMW MINIs. In fact, we had the first New MINI in the USA. Do you know if the previous owner made any modifications, like cold air intake, pulleys, suspension, exhaust? Of course, a JCW is pretty great just as it is from the factory! BTW, how many miles on it?

If you'd like some background reading, here's a link to some interesting information on our site. Please feel free to ask ANY questions!
