Hi everyone,

I am the proud new debtor to a 2007 Chili Red Cooper S with 63K miles on the clock with the Aisin 6 Speed Auto-Stick style transmission.

Love the ride, Love the handling...hating the fact I had to fight to get the timing chain replaced right off the bat and make the dealer pay for it.

The car is primarily driven by the missus though. I personally am waiting for my Elio to get built but that is another story entirely.

HaHa... I recently purchased a 2007 Chili Red Mini as well, and as well, I had to have the dealer to repair the timing chain. I purchased it with the deal that they would fix whatever was causing the CEL to be on... turned out to be not just the timing chain but the VANOS gear and all the solenoids. The dealer had to send it to a Mini specialist and it ended up costing them nearly as much as I paid for the car.
