My first Mini - Finally

My younger brother had one and loved it.
I was getting a little nervous about riding my motorcycle (even though I've been riding for over 3 decades).
I was considering the highly rated Miata but wasn't comfortable squatting that low to get in/out of it.
So the local dealer made me a deal on a left over 2015 2 door "S". It doesn't have any extras other than an automatic transmission. Although I see from the sticker that the blue paint is worth an extra $500.
I think I've figured out how to make the best of the transmission - I push the selector to the left to get to the S/M position and just leave it alone. Scoots right along!
As I read all of the posts I'm seeing model designations like "R55" and such, can someone lead me to the list that describes what each designation mean?
Already considering how best to upgrade the audio system. Trying to keep it under $1,000 seems to be a challenge. I'll let you know what I end up settling on.

www.outmotoring.com can explain it to you. Right on the home page!
They are also a really great place to look for any upgrades or customization (besides audio). Congrats on your mini!

The link you sent worked great. So it seems I have an F56.
I don't want to try an exhaust or intake until the warranty period is over but I'm sure I'll find some other things to buy on that site.
THANKS
