In about 6-8 weeks, I will be a MINI owner

It will be a Thunder Grey 2016 Cooper S Hardtop 2-door, manual

I completed a 2nd test drive this past weekend & picked out options for my build. Went with the Premium & JCW Interior packages, as well as the LED headlights & 17" black Cosmos spoke wheels.

It's gonna suck saying goodbye to my 2000 328 Ci tomorrow, but the water damage it incurred after some flooding in downtown Charleston last year led to my insurance company totaling it & taking it away

Will be using a rental car/Uber rides to get around until it arrives. I lurked threads on here for months before making my decision & look forward to meeting more of you on here (and maybe in person some day?)

I can't stress enough how professional & courteous the staff of Mini of Charleston was. They gave me a huge bag full of gifts and discounted carpet upgrade.

first mod plans are blacking out the head/taillights, belt line, & putting a Black Jack decal on the gas cap. longer term goal is the JCW Tuning Kit; hopefully by the end of summer/early Fall
