New R56 Owner

Never got around to writing this when I first got my mini back in May 2015. I have a new to me 2008 MCS 6-speed manual with just under 85k on it. I am currently deployed and when I get home you better believe that I am putting a good chunk of change into making my R56 something you don't see everyday. I have done extensive research into tons of products that I will be getting and I hope to be able to go to Bren Tuning to get a nice tune to go with all of the new parts. Here's a list of everything I plan to do and if you have any advice or any information you can offer to help me make my mini something special please don't hesitate. I already have the DDM Street Intake but here's the list of upgrades for when I get home.

Forge FMIC, Either a borla or milltek exhaust (catback but looking into a new DP), H&R 19mm rear sway bar, Megan Racing euro street series coilovers, WMW Resonator and Noise Maker delete pipes, and either a mishimoto or bsh oil catch can.

This list is subject to change as I continue to research every part carefully and the more I hear from the community about the best parts. I am fairly new to the mini and to the modding world but I do my homework and make sure I get what is going to work.

Looks like a very good list so far! The Forge Intercooler is very good quality and a great upgrade. Exhaust wise, maybe also consider REMUS. We have them here. Extremely high quality and comes with a very good warranty. A few members have some review threads on here about the product so you should check them out. Here is one of them. For coils, I highly recommend ST here as a good bang for your buck coil. I've installed these on everything from daily drivers to high HP builds. Plus, they're manufactured by KW so you know they're quality. Any lowering you to do your MINI you'll want to invest in a good set of adjustable rear control arms like the Hotchkis arms here. Let me know if you have any questions.

Good choice of mod plans. Here's hoping you're deployed someplace safe. I spent a fair amount of time deployed overseas many years ago. Great to hear that another New Englander gets Mini fever... a good thing. Great fun roads and interesting places to drive across our region. Almost like they were made for Minis. Post up some pictures when you get a chance.

Welcome

Nice to see you're putting a mod list together and already have our WMW pipes on it. When you're ready to start doing the other stuff let me know as I could help with some better and also more cost effective options.
