First time MINI owner

Hey guys! I'm proud to announce I am now the proud owner of a 2011 mini Cooper S! This is my first mini, and also happens to be my first car, and I'm planning on taking care of it. Sorry if this has been asked before, but can anyone give me some quick tips on what to look out for on a high mileage mini? It is a 67k mile car but has no problems whatsoever but I want to be preemptive to problems to keep the car in top shape. I'm looking forward to becoming a mini guru! Thanks in advance!

P.S. - Can anyone explain what powered by renntech means? Dealer didn't seem to know much about the car..

Welcome to NAM, Elias! Congratulations on your current purchase of your R56! Your R56 has the N18 engine, which is much better than the previous R56 N14 as they have remedied a lot of the issues, but they still have their quirks. Be sure to keep up on the maintenance and fix/repair things when they need to be done. RennTech, I believe, is a tune. Check out this thread here for info. If you ever need anything for your MINI please be sure to let me know. Post up some pictures for us when you can.

Welcome. Yes your car was tuned, however it could have been overwritten at some point. Check with tuner if possible. I had a used BMW with a Dinan tune, but sadly the dealer had purged it.

Welcome

Yes the Renntech thing may mean your car has an ECU tune on it, so you would either need to find the previous owner to find out, or slim but possible Renntech may be able to tell you by the vin number.

Put up some pictures! Welcome to Mini... definitely picked an excellent first car! Great fun driving for sure. The second of the R53 Ss that I got a chance to drive had about 67,000 miles and it drove like new car. Your 2011 R56 should equal that. Congrats!
