Please confirm.... the OEM spoiler is held on by 2 bolts on each end.. and some serious double sided tape. Thats it?

Trying to install a new 3rd brake light.. and is worried we might break the spoiler getting it off... someone recommend using a heat gun.. but is afraid it will ruin the clearcoat and plastic.

 

You shouldn't have to remove the spoiler at all

 

If it were stuck like glue it sounds like it'd be easier to get off

 

Twister... I think the shop would be happy if they could get it to move another to wiggle the light in the slot.. but it wont budge...

 

does anyone have a picture of what the underside of the spoiler looks like? we'd like to know WHERE the double sided concrete is located. Is it just around the bolts, or is it all over the bottom of the spoiler.. since it sits flush on the car.
