Just bought a Mini Cooper S on Sunday!

I've been watching CL like a hawk, and last Saturday I saw an '05 MCS pop up with hard shifts for $2,800. I drove a couple hours and sealed the deal for $2,500. I love the car.

In the past week I've:

- rotated the tires
- painted the rotors
- painted the calipers
- polished the driver's side headlight
- polished both taillights
- changed the spark plugs
- changed the front wipers
- ordered a new "Mini" emblem for the hood
- ordered weathertech mats used from CL
- ordered a real cup holder used from CL
- 17% pulley with belt and tools
- Transgo shift kit
- tranny gasket
- ordered steering wheel control module for aftermarket stereo

I guess that's it for now.

Grip-Grip, Congrats man! Looks awesome. I just bought my '06 Mini S also on CL, and paid a few bucks more but I'm happy with it. She looks cool as heck (yours!)...

Some people spend 2500 bucks on a single wheel. Great grab... looks like it's in excellent shape!

Thanks for the positive comments. Hopefully a new VB gets it shifting the way it should.

It was having hard 3rd gear downshifts once warmed up, so I decided to try the Transgo shift kit install myself. It didn't go so well. I ended up installing a Revmax rebuilt VB and it's shifting fine now.
