Newbie from PNW

Hello, I'm new to Mini and this forum. Yesterday my wife bought herself a 09' Mini Cooper S. We actually are planning to buy ourselves a 2016 Countryman (already test-drove one) next year but thought this would be a nice intro to Mini, then when we are ready to upgrade we will give this 09' to our daughter.
Its a pretty sweet car so far. Any tips & tricks to be aware of?

Love the color. Yellow with the black roof is classic.

As for tips - just follow NAM and great stuff will show up. It all depends on what you want to do. Follow your own path.
