Hi guys,

I very recently acquired my first mini. It is a R52 Cooper S with the JCW tuning (at least I assume since it wasn't offered as a factory option then). It is going to share the garage with a 2013 M5 and a 2015 i3.

I enjoy the car a lot so far, and I'm looking forward to driving it more.

To date, I had the lower control arms replaced and I installed new hood shocks and rear moldings (the seals in the back). I'm not a very mechanically inclined person but I'm looking forward to learning. To this point, I'd love to meet with experienced owners in the area, as I have a few questions. For example, the steering feels a bit floaty, but it may just be in my head as I have no basis for comparison.

Finally, since it seems to be a local car, I'd love to hear from anybody who has prior knowledge of the car.
