Yeah it is in excellent condition cosmetically, i looked at it yesterday. If the air condition worked i would probably pick it up, i guess i should call him to see if the supercharger was rebuilt or replaced.............but the engine with 187,000? man it might be close to blowing up!

I wouldn't really be all that worried (assuming it was taken care of). There are several R53 owners on here with over 200k and some that have over 300k!

OK Guys, here we go again!!! i think i may have finally found a good one. Take a look.
http://lancaster.craigslist.org/cto/5214239995.html

I called the guy, he told me it is his 70year old mothers, she had it since new and just bought a new Honda fit to replace it because now she wanted automatic. It was babied and oil changed constantly, even when it didn't need it. Clutch was replaced and its inspected till next August. What do you guys think? Offer him $5000? This was a good year for the r50 right? Thanks everyone for helping me to find the right one!

Guess you need to decide if you want a SC or not...
I see a seat cover and a bunch of airfreshners in the pic...hmm...
Price feels very strong for a r50. But condition rules.

Well i dont think i need a "S" i think a justa will be fine for me to drive back and forth to work. There are still a lot of fun right? and more reliable? Yes i noticed the seat cover and fresheners. The guy i talked to said its his mothers and she is 70, so hence the Air fresheners and seat cover. Of you notice the seat looks like its really far forward like a little older lady would drive.Hey but i wont know until i check it out tonight. I think i will offer 4800 and go from there.......
