New guy old car 1961 Austin Mini 850
Hello I'm Howard Morris , live in Northeast Ohio and I'm the president of the Northeast Ohio Austin Healey Club. I own a 1961 Austin Healey BT7 Tri-Carb Rally replica Tribute car. I just purchased a 1961 Austin Mini Cooper 850 cc. All I have to do now is reassemble it .
Looking for the following
1. Wiring Harness
2. Center speedometer Housing pod (www.rhinofabrications.com) they have a repop for $64.00 anyone have an original to sell?
3. Blank keys for vintage Mini's
Cheers
Any help . comments, would be appreciated

Congrats on the Mini. I'd check with 7ent.com, Heritage Garage- both in California or Mini City in New York that offers many used parts or DJ's Mini in Florida. One or more of them will have parts or good advice. best of luck!
for keys
http://www.triple-c.com/
caution ... I bought several ignition key blanks from them and took those and my one good key to several locksmiths and each time the new key failed to work
finally saw T-C at a show and had THEM make me copies and those work perfectly . . . . mine was a MK4 however ... you might have better luck
centre pod - 3 dial - http://www.7ent.com/products/instrum...r-14a9815.html
{read the fine print on this part .... it is not the only thing you need - it is the cover and not ALL the cover. You still need trim ring and the supports that go behind to hold the dials . . . }
harness: http://www.7ent.com/products/wiring-...tin-7-321.html

Thanks BrgPa and Capt BJ
Thanks to both of you for the reply. I'm going to take my tumbler to the next car show swap meet and talk to a vendor. Problem is I don't have a blank key so I may have to buy NOE tumbler and key for this vintage car. I have ordered some lug nuts from 7ent for my mamba mags and have checked Heritage Garage . Good Stuff nice sites. I'll check out nice mini's in NYC.
I found a nice site www.rhinofabrications.com they have the center speedo pods for 64$$$ but are plastic . but look really nice.
Biggest problem I have is that I have no back seat no foam or seat bracket. I did get contacted today by Buddy in Louisville and he says he has a lot of 60-61 parts for an 850.
Thanks for the ideas guys , much appreciated
Cheers
