First mini r53
Hello,
Just picked up my mini. A 2005 s r53. It needs a lot of work, mostly get up to spec and maintance, some cosmetic and some electrical. Got it for a good price and plan to get it up to spec soon.

Bad news.
Thanks for all the welcomes. I am not afraid of a project, the body is rust free straight underbody. It needs a timing chain tensioner and I was going to do standard known issue repairs and standard high mileage items.
The issue is the car was sold to me as clean title and I found out today it's a salvaged title. I can title,it without a ton of work and inspection and bull. I contacted the seller and told him he needs to take it back. It's illegalto sell a vehicle and even though I asked three times and the title said it's clean. It's not. So either he gives me my money back. Or I part it out to try to recoup the funds or. I find a really cheap solid mini with a blown engine and tranny.
I have priced these out side they wee released. Finally got a green light and found one in my price range and get this.
Not in my happy place right now.
