New Mini Owner(s)
Hi all! My girlfriend and I recently found the joys of Mini ownership as of recently.
She has a 2013 Eclipse Grey S Hardtop, and I just recently picked up a 2014 Lightning Blue Metallic S Coupe. Neither have any mods currently, but we're definitely in the planning phase (OK, she's teetering on the "pulling the trigger" phase at this point ). No pictures of either, currently - with the weather changing every five minutes here in Oklahoma, we haven't been able to keep them clean for more than a day or two, let alone get a decent photoshoot knocked out.
This is a new pursuit for me, as I have predominately been wrapped up in "New Edge" ('99 - '04) Mustangs for the majority of the time that I've had my license (had a '00 V6 and '99 Cobra). I was more than sold on the interior of the Mini, but once I drove hers, I found it to be a "best of both worlds" option for me - enough power on tap to have a little fun when I wanted to, and impressive gas mileage to boot (which was also a huge plus, having been spoiled by DDing a Cruze Eco).
In any case, I thought I'd say hi, and that I'm looking forward to learning more about these cars, as well as getting to know some folks around here!
