I have admired Mini's from a distance for years. I recently had to turn in a company car so I found myself in need of a vehicle for myself. I found a 2008 Mini Cooper S in British Racing Green and I purchased it yesterday. I was a bit apprehensive because I was not entirely sure what type of vehicle I should get, I was testing out cars from all over the spectrum. I am glad that I settled for the Mini, it was at the top end of my budget, but right now I am not regretting writing that check. I used to be a member of a local club that focused on European autos and there were a number of Mini owners in the group. Unfortunately I do not know if they are around anymore, but hopefully I can find a local engaged group of Mini owners. Hopefully I will learn much from the experience of the Mini owners on this forum.
