I've been reading various posts on here about the new f56 models while I waited for my Cooper to turn up. Picked it up on Friday just gone so thought I better register now.

My names John and I'm from the south of England. I've owned a 2001 silk green Cooper with CVT auto till 2005. I then got an EB Cooper S in 2005 which I did a lot of modifications to. This was then sold in 2010 as I moved in with my now wife and she had a 2007 MINI One. We only had room for one car, and since she can only drive auto we kept her car.
Back in October we decided to have a look at the new model and ended up putting in an order for the Cooper auto. We really wanted chili red so had to get the MINI sport pack (jcw interior/exterior packs). After waiting just over a month we collected it last Friday and love it. We also got the union Jack fitted to the roof along with the side indicator surrounds as the wife had this on her previous mini. As your see from the pictures it looks amazing with this colour and jcw aero kit.

Look forward to reading more posts on here and giving my feedback on this new model of MINI.
