Sooooo here we go
I use to be big into cars and built a few different Vdubs including a Rabbit GTI16v ITB race car. Then got into Motocycles and dirtbikes and bought a couple different half ton pickups over the years. Got tired of driving big Ole gas guzzlers so I decided to buy a Cooper. Bought a R53 from florida at Auction got a good deal. Well this is were the Saga begins
A few weeks ago it was delivered.
It was listed as having Xenons, Nav, Heated Seats, MoonRoof, Foglights, Aux Plug, but slight sun fading.
Instead I got a Indi Blue Horribly faded R53 with no packages or options besides cruise control and cool two tone leather seats.
Two days after taking delivery I get a nasty rattle. Did some reasearch and decided it a cam chain tensioner. So replaced that. Nope Rattle still there. Replaced the Idler Pulley. Nope.....So looks like I need a supercharger.
All I have done so far is replace a few missing parts, Added Aux kit, Bought some Cheap used cooper 17" 8 spoke rims and plasti dipped them Black.
But here is the plan:
Source a supercharger
Get a paint job to fix the fading
Aftermarket Wheels and tires
Add OEM fog lights
Then...
Lots and lots of Mods:( not in the particular order)
Suspension (Undecided Brand)
Alta 15% Supercharger Pulley
Colder Plugs
Wires Magnecor
MSD Ignition Coil
Tensioner Bracket aLTA
Exhaust Custom Built or Magnaflow
Taillights LED ALtezzas
HID headlight whole unit conversion
Sprint Booster Module
Maybe intake
A couple Carbon Fiber goodies
My plan is to build it to a Mostly Stock classy looking Daily driver, that everytime you get behind the wheel Makes you forget everything bad in the world and brings an orgasmic smile.
P.s. I am also really into Motorcycles, track days, supermotos, and dirtbikes.
That is all

HI!
Sounds like a case of false advertising! You did not get what you paid for. Those options cost money. I hope they refunded some of your money or you are going to do something about the bait and switch they did. Maybe they just shipped you the wrong R53.
Sorry, it makes me angry when you do not get what you pay for.
Welcome aboard, I hope your MINI experience only gets better.

I got the old sold "AS is" Routine
It's okay I filed an official complaint in the name of the large Bank I work for. I got a pretty solid deal so I could not be all mad. But needless to say when it was deliviered I freaked out checked the VIN and had a tempter tantrum like a 7 year old.
Only thing I really cared about was seat wamers for the cold a$$ winters here in Michigan. I saw there is a pricey retrofit kit, but it look like a real pain.
So far even with the faded paint, the missing options, the blown supercharger I am loving the car. I cannot get over the driveability of the little devil. I built cars that were not this intuative to drive.
