Hello!

Just a few years ago, if asked whether I'd ever belong to a Mini forum, I'd have laughed. My wife had an '05 and while I liked it just fine, it was really a cutesy car for her, never me. I couldn't see owning one. They were too whimsical for me, not at all serious.

Yet over the years I watched how the company tried to create a community (not so much lately) and I noticed my wife's car hung in there pretty well.

Less than a week ago we went to a dealer because I hadn't seen a Coupe yet and my wife had one on order. While we were there I test drove an F56 Cooper S Hardtop and was impressed. I couldn't get it out of my head. Four days later I ordered one.

Coming from two GTIs, this will be a very different experience.

I'm in Rochester though we ordered our cars through Towne. They treated my wife very well with her first Mini so we felt we had to give them repeat business.

I looked around for Mini clubs but didn't see anything very active in this area. If you can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!

 

Towne mini is one of the greatest dealership out there and sponsors many events around Buffalo area. Search for Roc City minis (Mini of Rochester runs it), Southern Ontario Mini Club, Whine Country Coopers and Mini Club of WNY on facebook or google. Hope to meet you at one of the events!
