New R53 auto owner

Just purchased a 2005 MCSa in Korea. Wanted a manual but it was never officially imported here. I don't know the full spec as I'm used to UK cars but it has:

Heated seats
Folding mirrors
Chrono pack (which I hate :()
MSFW
Xenon

I'll try and get a full spec list from the factory when I get the car.

Plans is just to make a mint again and enjoy it.

Paint work is bad and peeling from when they didn't removed the trim for respray. The orange peel is also quite bad so needs some wet sanding and a nice detail. Seems to have escaped winter grime and looks quite clean but will check all over when I get the car and it starts to come apart.

I spent some time at Plant Oxford for my placement so I know the R53 inside out. I'm going to check and maybe it's one that I checked before it left the factory. hehe

Hopefully I can contribute and get whatever help I need here!

Awesome. I hope you'll be able to share some photos soon. Happy motoring.

Best Regards.

Picked up the car but already broken it. Oops The serpentine belt went 2 miles from home, I had to keep going for 30s or so because it simply wasn't safe to stop (new engine or risk getting ploughed by a truck??).

I got it recovered home and it looks like it's escaped major damage. Coolant is still in expansion tank at same level but the temp gauge went to 120C with the warning lights. I'm guessing the gauge doesn't show the real temp?

The trouble now is fixing it. No garages want to touch a foreign car here so it might have to be recovered to Seoul which is 100 miles away. I would do it myself but I don't have any tools here.
