Help with Cord Management

Help!

I recently purchased my first mini (a 2009). I hastily ran out and purchased a dual USB port adapter for the lighter port, a 3ft aux cord, iPhone5 car charger and an iPod (4g touch, 30pin) charger.

My center console is now an ugly cluster that I cant stand to look at. Is there a singular charger/player product other than the rather expensive iPod integration kit?

Internet searches offer the "Y Cable." Does this cord work as is or is it a part of the integration kit? The lack of a "male" piece for the headphone jack suggests that this item doesn't stand alone as a charger and player.

Thank you in advance!

Lot going on......

I use the Y-Cable. I have it going down to the passenger side and I keep the iPod in the fish net thing along side the console.

I have all kinds of things wired into my car. Dash Cams front and rear, Amateur Radio and hidden remote radar.

Ran wires between the plastic and glass using a credit card. Was able to push them up inside the center console with just my hand but I have several going front to rear.

I feel your pain.

On the wife's mini I just use the iPod and 3mm jack only but that won't charge the iPod but for local weekend driving that is not a problem. I also use a USB Stick for music in her car.

I like the Y-Cable. It works but I have the Nav System in my car so I see the Album Artwork on the display. Pretty cool. Charges iPod/iTouch fine. Came with the car but I heard after market ones may or may not work. Reduces clutter and I keep it in the pouch to the side. Never need to touch it.

The cigarette lighter chargers are great idea. I use that for my hands free phone thing on the visor as I don't use an iPhone. It is nice and cheaper about $30 bucks for hands free bluetooth and the back side will solar charge too.
