Good Day,

I currently own a 2010 Clubman S Mini. This car only came with one key so I am investigating how to best purchase a remote programmable key.

Ebay has several sites that sell Mini Cooper smart new uncut key remote control keyless entry.

Are these worth purchasing?
If so, how does one find information on how to program the remote for ones specific car?
Can a key smith cut the key?
Or, is it best to purchase the key directly from a dealer?
