Finally got a Mini!

Hi everyone, I just got my first Mini the other day. It's a 2010 Justa (see I'm already learning the lingo) w/ 38k miles. I've loved Mini's for a very long time, I even went and test drove one in 2002 when I definitely could not afford one. Over the years I've been a Subaru enthusiast—in fact—I've owned 7 and my girlfriend is on her second.

Last year I purchased a new Subaru BRZ that I fell in love with. I ended up selling my 2011 WRX that I also owned and replaced it with a standard Impreza to use as a daily driver. Anyway, I got bored with it and impulse purchased the Mini to replace the Impreza and I couldn't be happier.

I'm really impressed with Mini and I am looking forward to learning more about these cars. So far, I've just put on some Michelin X-Ice II tires to get me through the rest of this New England winter. Coming from a long list of AWD Subaru's I'm surprised how well it's holding up in the snow.

And here's my BRZ:

Looks like your impulses steered you right! Enjoy!

Thanks! I love it almost as much as my BRZ—I was not expecting that at all. I think I even like it more than my old WRX.

I agree! Coming from Subaru I'm really impressed with the quality of the interior.

Thanks! I keep finding reasons to go out and drive it. I was having a hard time waiting for it to get warm so I could drive my BRZ, now I don't mind waiting!

Oops! Already ordered a JPW grill, GP shift **** and boot, and a shorty antennae. Didn't think I was going to mod this car... Ha ha ha

Also just found out there is a Mini specialist in the next time over. I'm liking this more and more everyday!
