Hello MINI Community
New to MINI and new to this forum. Purchased a 2011 hardtop a month ago and have spent much time since reading about MINIs, including 1000s of posts on this forum. It has been a fun educational experience. Enjoying the MINI so much that we have entertained thoughts of buying another . . . or maybe two.
I look forward to continued learning from members sharing experiences on the forum and, hopefully, meeting some of you for extended conversation. We will be attending some MINI events.
I raced Karts for many years and the MINI handling brings back great memories. Never been one to bumper sticker a car or use one to make statements along the road, but had to add a badge to Green Flash to announce the racing memories evoked by the driving experience. But, with respect to MINIUSA, my MINI does not handle like a go-kart - a small vehicle driven by children in their backyard or rented at an amusement park. However, it does have cornering abilities much like a Kart - a small, fast, quick-handling vehicle raced competitively around the world.
