I want my car back
I want my car back
Bought my 13 clubman S on Oct 1st and took delivery on Oct 3rd and so far the car has spent far more time in MINI service garage than my own.
Found numerous cosmetic and other issues after buying and taking forever to get it all fixed.
First was bonnet caused my newly installed stripes to get so hot it scratched when I pulled a soft cloth across it. ( had to have new stripes applied and convinced them to install heat shield )
Found stains on headliner ( light beige colored headliner ) and they had to remove one from another new car and found that windshield had to be pulled to do this, still working on that.
Found bumper had some rash on it, fixed that.
Pass side airbag light never lights, even on lamp check.
Missing some tools it was supposed to have, screwdriver and wheel chock.
Scratch on side mirror.
Don't get me wrong, I love the car, just wished their final inspection was better than my initial one.

Glad you got everything fixed. If that was a brand new, near-zero mile car, it sure had a lot of cosmetic damage from sitting on the lot.
My wife always thought I was nuts for taking up to a half hour to go over every new car I've bought in the past 25 years with a fine tooth comb (with the salesman). I've made them buff out paint scuffs, replace a side molding, change a chrome windshield trim piece, and even change out a tire (had a "dent" in the side wall) before I would take delivery. It may kill some of the excitement of the new car, but I've never had to go back to get something fixed a few weeks later.
