been hiding in the corner browsing for a couple months and finally am coming out... lol...

picked up my first mini a couple month ago after a long bout of, say 30 years of fleet vehicles i finally get to drive what i want. though paying for gas is a bit of a shock when you have to pay attention to the price..... last time it came out of my pocket it was a quarter a gallon.....


so a big wave, both hands out the sun roof to all you other mini cruisers.

Welcome to NAM. What MINI did you buy. Whatever it is, it must be a real job compared to what you have been driving.

.25 a gallon? You're as old as I am... I remember pumping gas as a kid for my Dad's car at 18.9 per gallon! Those were the days.

 

Welcome to NAM, sg010 and congrats on your new MINI. I remember gas costing 25 cents a gallon, but that was back in 1971. Guess I'm dating myself here. It appears that you're already waving, so no need to encourage you there but you might want to consider this.
