Just moved up from Georgia. Stationed at Fort Detrick. Need a good reliable shop around here and figured that this site might just be able to help me with that and just seemed like the right time to get on the forum.

 

Welcome to NAM! What kinda MINI do you have?

Helix seems to be pretty well-respected in the MINI community; Helix has a shop in Philly if I'm not mistaken. They'd be a great place to go for any upgrades or mods you want.

If you're looking for someplace closer for regular maintenance, you might check this site: Sooper Cooper independent shops. You might also look for a local MINI club to 1) join in the MINI shenanigans and 2) meet other owners & learn where they get their work done.

Thanks Friday, I have an 05 r53. I've done the pulley and exhaust on my own. Trying to get the dealer to warranty the power steering now. I was down in the Tampa area at MacDill for a few years.
