Mine is heading towards Port Hueneme, with an ETA of monday.
Raven Girl:
It appears your long wait is close to an end.
I still look forward to seeing pictures when it arrives.
Did you say the controls are installed at the VDC?
The Texas vessel where my MINI is on is still in port Santander, Spain as of 11/5/13. Not sure if it's just sitting there or if the website just hasn't updated itself in a few days ): However, it still has an ETA of 11/13 at the Baltimore, MD port

I would check again today. I'm guessing the sit hasn't updated yet.

Actually, I read the date backwards. It will be at the port on the 13th. The hand controls will be installed by a company here in SLC after I pick the car up.
Okay, It finally updated today and it looks like the Texas vessel is already at the Baltimore port (or at least pretty close to it).
However, when I emailed my MA yesterday to ask him for the tracking info on my MINI, the name of the vessel is different, which is Fidelio and that it will arrive at the New York port on 11/15
I got my info from the www.att.2wglobal.com website and entered my MINI's VIN# and got the vessel's name which is Texas.
I hope my MA is wrong and I will confirm with him today...

If your MINI appears on the "Texas" manifest, that appears more accurate to me.
I would trust the site more than your MA when it comes to tracking the ship and which your car is on. For mine I knew the ship was going to NY, my MA was positive it was going to Baltimore, which it didn't haha.
Woo Hoo! The Elektra is DOCKED! According to my MA, once the car hits the VDC, it usually takes about 4-5 days to arrive at the dealership. So maybe by the end of next week. ...Hopefully...

Yea, my MA is inisitent that it's on A different vessel. I'll go ahead and just trust my own tracking skills :D
Also, once the MINI is out of the VDC is there a way to continuously track it until it gets to the dealership?

Hey RavenGirl - which ship is your MINI on? Mine is Texas which also just docked at Baltimore earlier today

I had to be careful with reading the dates. M/d/yr or D/m/yr. shipping schedules in one format and dealer pick up dates in the other.
Are the controls fairly standard or are they custom setup for an individual ?
Wow b00sted09. You're getting about the same amount of misinformation that I got. I bet the shipping company knows what is on their boats though. Lyf
Yes, I'm pretty sure I have the correct shipping info since I am using the VIN # of my MINI which is used as an ID# for the shipping company's cargo load

Don't forget the pictures .
They're custom to the individual. There are so many different types and options it boggles the mind. the mini phone menu says the car is still at the port awaiting transport, but I hope there's just some update delay, given that the vdc is 1.5 miles away from the port.
My MINI's status shows "Delivered From" as of today, 11/15.
Does that mean that it is now at the VDC or dealership?? I'm assuming the VDC since it's only been a few days since the vessel docked at the Baltimore port...
I was concerned as well, my status says it's waiting at the port. I contacted my MA and he says the car has an ETA to arrive at the dealership of 11/22.

Mine said that also - that its at the port awaiting for a shipping vessel...
Yup, that's it, but my MA confirmed it was at the vdc as of yesterday.
Yea, I wish my MA Can give me the correct info though.. He keeps sayin that my MINI is on the Fidelio which is at the NY port.
I am using my MINI's VIN to track it and I thing that's a more credible information that what my MA has...
