"Those waiting for a 2014" Support Group
The automated system is no better than than the OL. A CSR can definitely get you more information.
9/9 - finished production 9/26. Still waiting at port as of today. I'm not in the UK though, my Paceman was produced in Austria.
Since the Paceman is produced in Austria, I'm not sure if they take longer as the coopers/clubmans are produced in Oxford. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...
The Aida has successfully crossed the Atlantic and is currently docked in Halifax! Though, the AIS website is playing tricks on me and it isn't showing up now (odd).
So, that would put my CM in NJ on 10/19, in MA on 10/25(ish), and hopefully in my driveway 10/29(ish).
So very close.

I'm in the U.S. and I ordered a clubman S. I spoke with a CSR today who gave me the same update as the automated system: Awaiting production but no production date yet. I ordered mine on 10/4.

I ordered mine on 10/4 and today, 10/17, it's still on Order status. I called MINI and spoke with a csr who stated it's still awaiing production with NO production date yet.
it's going to be a lot more longer wait that I expected :(

The wait is over!
I finally picked up the MINI S Coupe.
We have her home and had a blast getting our kicks on Old Route 66 . Stopped at POP's just east of Edmond OK for lunch gathered a crowd in the parking lot.
Thanks to all who helped with the waiting.

I will call my MA and hopefully he has a more updated status on my MINI
Looks awesome. Congrats!
Congrats great looking coupe!
Very nice...great looking wheels! I know you'll really enjoy your new coupe, especially after the very long wait. Best wishes!
Congrats! I know you'll enjoy your new toy. And the buildup of anticipation just makes having it that much nicer.
Heat Shield Installed

Q H, Kenny, All,
Thanks for the comments.
I forgot to mention!
One of the first things I looked at the dealer was to open the Bonnet and find it has thermal insulation installed.
The theory that stripes get the turbo heat thermal blanket seems to be true.
I will take a picture this morning and post later.
The insulation is the black matting but has a metallic piece directly over the area where it would be adjacent to the TurboCharger heat shroud.
I was relieved to see it installed.
Thanks again.

Congrats on the Coupe, Grumpy! I'm on vacation in Florida, so I'm a little delayed in getting my responses out. The color combination is very catchy and you wheels are exceptionally sporty. I would love to see it in person. I'll bet you're going to get a lot of curious people asking you about your Coupe. I've never seen a similar color combo yet. Well done, Sir!
Thanks, I appreciate the conversations while we waited for the MINI's to make their way to us.
I was very pleased with the colors and wheels, hoping the computer rendering was accurate. The in person view exceeded my expectations.
The coupe was getting a lot of attention at the dealer.
Our stop for lunch on the way home was very interesting with a steady stream of people asking about the car.
A Edmond OK policeman pulled up behind us in the parking area and was asking me about it.
Hope you are having a great vacation.
Best of luck my friend.

Hang in there! The wait only gets worse once you board a ship. You'll find yourself tracking the voyage, then sweating it out at the VDC. But the wait is well worth it - when you first see your MINI at the dealership it will blow your mind. I visited my Roadster at the empty lot on a Sunday and stayed with him for over an hour. Delivery was awesome!
Grumpy:
I'm sure you're enjoying the heck out of your Coupe. It looks so damn sporty! Like your coupe should be on the track, not the street, if you know what I mean. I hope you appreciate how rare your color combination is - I've never seen a Coupe with your configuration on-line or at any MINI dealership.
banderlin:
It seems like you've been on order forever. Hang tough, believe it or not your MINI will arrive. I hope you beat your 10/29 delivery date and get your MINI on the road!

Most here have endured the the wait you are experiencing . I know you will be thrilled when your MINI arrives with the hand controls calling out your name asking you to take it out Motoring.
Until then you have have friends here that know the angst of the wait.
Keep us updated. It helps the journey.
