Hi everybody, I've been lurking here for a while, reading posts and gathering info, etc...for the purchase of my new (and first) Mini that I just picked up last week from Orlando Mini.

I love it so far and I don't think it could be any more fun to drive . I now see why Mini owners are possibly more fanatical about their cars than a lot of other cars on the market. I'm coming from a Mazda3 GT hatchback which was actually a great car and fun as well, but my Mini is on a whole other level.

Welcome and congrats ! My JCW just hit the shore yesterday, will be a couple weeks before I get my hands on it and can't wait. I optioned mine out very similarly. Couldn't be more different on our color choices though.

Welcome to the new JCW Owner's party! I ordered mine in April and took delivery a couple of weeks ago. I wanted the Recaros, until I sat in them - my shoulders are wide enough that they rest on the side bolsters, instead of between them.

 

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. Did I see palm trees in those pics? I hope that all black MINI spends a great deal of time in the shade. Looks great.

 

eaglebeagle - Thanks, I'll check out sunshineminis.org. I picked up a flyer at the dealer for an event at Disney in September which I'll probably go to as well

Spa2k - I know what you mean about the Recaro seat bolsters. My immediate impression when sitting in them was that the leg bolsters on each side were a little too close, like the outside of my legs kinda smashed into them. However, I will say that after having them for about a week, I love these seats and I'm glad I got them.
