My First Mini
Hi All,
Ordered my Pepper White Cooper S Hardtop on 31st May 2013. 'Melvin' is now sitting in Georgia at the processing center. Can't wait for his arrival in Texas and am being totally impatient. Looking at all the posts it seems I'm destined for some super fun driving.

Any advice (or direction to posts) on what to look for when inspecting before delivery would be greatly appreciated.

It's the best isn't it. Wasn't really a white car fan up until now. Got the roof and mirrors in body color too. Don't like this waiting business at all ! I will post pics as soon as I can. My MA says around 24th which is way too long for my patience level.

Me too ! I will be going from an F-250 4x4 to a MINI. Some adjustment to say the least. Dreaming of twisty turns and getting to work after 32 miles of Houston traffic happy. Can't wait.

Check the tires and wheels for any flaws.
Check for any damage or finish flaws in paint, use good daylight or you will not be able to see as well.

That really is a great color for the MINI.
Enjoy the driving. I moved from a bigger car to a mini as well. This car has me smiling all the time, it's just fun to drive and fun to see other mini's on the road.

I'm hoping for big smiles too! Got mixed messages today between Owners Lounge, ASK MINI and my MA so am a little (OK, a lot) grumpy about when delivery will actually take place now. Hubby told me to chill out so for once in my life am taking his advice. Want to garage the F250 ASAP but it is beyond my control. Dreaming of twisty turns ; - )

So, I'm still waiting. It was released to a carrier on Monday and put on a truck Tuesday. Today I'm told the car will arrive at the dealer tomorrow and then they want a day to prep before releasing it. This part is the worst of all. I'm guessing I won't see it until next week as my MA isn't as proactive or as knowledgable as I would have expected.

Most of the delivery stuff is out of the MA's control. Did he/she explain how to operate and set your car up for you? If so I hope you give your MA a 100% survey. Anything else is a fail. Happy Motoring
