Howdy from Arizona!
Just wanted to say hello to everyone and express my gratitude to everyone here. My wife and I are "new" mini owners. She has been asking for one for two years now...so I finally, and reluctantly, broke down and got a used '04 Cooper S. After our first road trip to Ruidoso, NM from Phoenix all I can say is "Why did it take me soooo long to get one!" 
This is the most fun in a car I've had in a very long time!...and as a cop I get to drive fast and corner hard. I'd been reluctant after reading so many reviews that said it had go-cart handling. I've got to admit....that's a grown-ups go-cart dream!

Maybe it has something to do with the heat right now
